NP-6140 Series Automation PC Features
The NP-6140 Series is an active-cooled control cabinet Automation PC platform supporting Intel® Core™ 12th, 13th and 14th Gen LGA1700 processors with up to 65W TDP, dual SO-DIMM DDR4-3200 memory up to 32GB, VGA and HDMI display outputs, Intel® GbE networking, and a full-size mini-PCIe expansion slot with SIM holder. The base NP-6140 provides 6 GbE, RS232 and RS485 with dual M.2 SATA storage; NP-6140-16I16O adds 16 isolated DI and 16 isolated DO; NP-6140-EX01 expands connectivity to 7 GbE, 2 RS232, 4 RS485, 8DI/8DO, audio and optional dual CAN2.0; and NP-6140-MVS integrates 4-channel PWM light control with external trigger inputs plus 8DI/8DO for machine vision integration. Selected variants also support a 2.5-inch SATA SSD. All models use a 200 x 168 x 75mm aluminum-magnesium chassis with fan-assisted cooling, DIN-rail or wall mounting, 12-24V DC input and -20°C to 60°C operating temperature.

Application Areas
The NP-6140 Series is suitable for production line control, automated assembly, machine control, robotics, motion control, PLC replacement, soft PLC and industrial edge computing where high CPU performance and multiple industrial interfaces are required. The 16I16O model is particularly suited to machines requiring direct sensor, actuator and interlock connections, while the EX01 configuration supports industrial gateways, equipment integration and control systems requiring additional Ethernet, serial and CAN connectivity. The MVS model adds PWM light control and external triggering for machine vision inspection, barcode and OCR verification, defect detection and vision-guided assembly. The DIN-rail/wall-mount architecture also supports centralized control cabinet installations, industrial data acquisition and OT/IT connectivity.
